A festival themed wedding?
our story began exactly where it makes the most sense - at a festival.
when it came to planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to create something truly special and meaningful to us.
that’s how we landed on ‘nowadays’.
it reflects the playful, modern twist we envisioned for our big day, while also capturing the idea of living in the moment. look a little closer and you’ll also spot ‘now a day’ - a nod to the joining of our names.
‘nowadays’ is a celebration of us, our love of music, and the joy of bringing our favourite people together in true festival style.
Our Story
we first crossed paths at global gathering back in 2014, a weekend we both still describe as one of the best of our lives! at the time, we had no idea that moment would plant the seed for everything to come.
after years of friendship (and life doing its thing), we finally got together in 2021, in the throws of covid. since then, music has been the soundtrack to our relationship, from festivals and gigs to dancing around the kitchen. we've bonded over our love of edm, jazz/funk and rock, silly humour, nice house décor and a shared appreciation of asian food.
we bought our first home in october 2024 and a month later got engaged in new york, in front of the brooklyn bridge.
twelve years on from that first festival (to the exact weekend), here we are throwing one of our own, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you!
